Eggcellent Easter

Like most Sundays these days Easter started early; with two bowls of porridge, a bowl of Rice Krispies and an hour later sausages with ketchup.

But by 9.30 the morning took a heavenly twist - chocolate eggs to finish.

There were lots of reasons to be excited yesterday, as well as the boys eating chocolate in their pyjamas.

We were heading to Sea Lodge for the day where Gogi had planned an epic Easter egg hunt in the back garden.

According to Gigi he'd been buying chocolate all week.

They couldn't wait.

There was nowhere better to explore than Sea Lodge, and nothing better than finding chocolate eggs in the middle of the adventure.

We all had a wonderful day at the house. A place that's relaxing yet fun-filled.

Quiet yet memorable (that leak!).

Essentially Irish with a mediterranean twist.

And yesterday, "Summer in the light and winter in the shade" - Charles Dickens.

Or "Two sides to the hedge", as they say in Wexford!

There's definitely nowhere like Sea lodge.

Then, when I was scrolling through Instagram this morning, I saw this quote on @redlullaby.

"Take pictures of everything. Tell people you love them. Talk to random strangers. Do things that scare you. Take your life and make it the best story in the world. It's not always easy but we only get one life. Make it count." - GG Benitez

Pretty much sums it all up. Love your life, make it count, and take lots of photos!

Hope you had a fantastic Easter filled with love (and chocolate). X
