Ricotta with Cinnamon Honey

This is one of those simple, easy, quick, super-tasty desserts that can be whipped up and on the table in less than 10 minutes. Yep, that ticks all the boxes for me!

On one of his nights out in Italy David ordered a simple, scrumptious ricotta dessert. He thought it was so amazing that as soon as he got home he described it to me in detail. Then he gave me instructions on how to make it for his next dessert!

Ricotta with Cinnamon Honey (SERVES 4)

What you'll need:
  • 250g ricotta
  • 25g pecans, chopped and toasted
  • 25g pine nuts, toasted
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

How to make it:

Spoon the ricotta into four bowls.

Chop the pecans and pop in a dry frying pan. Add the pine nuts and toast on a medium heat for 5 - 10 minutes until browned slightly.

Warm the honey in the microwave for 20 seconds, then add the cinnamon and mix well.

Drizzle the cinnamon honey on top of each of the ricotta servings and garnish with the pecans and pine nuts.
