Some of the things we loved doing this weekend were...
Heading to Cabinteely park yesterday for a stroll, play and picnic with the boys.
Oh and ice-cream too!
And on Saturday, I had a great night catching up with the girls in Fallon & Byrne Wine Cellar over delicious wine and tasty food. It was a beautiful balmy summers evening so we decided to keep the night going sitting outside The Port House on South William Street and gave a bottle of Rioja an interview. It passed with flying colours!
We headed to Beckett & Bull in Rathgar on Sunday for a kid-free brunch where we unexpectedly bumped into some friends and had a lovely time chatting over the €18 'pre-fixie' - choose anything from the brunch menu, a brunch cocktail and a coffee or tea - yum.
In between, here are some things I loved from the web this weekend.
LOVED FROM THE WEB
Design
These Ikea hacks from apartment therapy for the babies/toddlers room will no doubt be tested on the new bed in the coming weeks.
Current events
The athletes arrived home from the special Olympics today. Am feeling so proud of everyone who took part and represented Ireland. This photo of one of the medal winners really struck a chord - summed up the huge amount of hard work and dedication that goes into winning an Olympic medal. Well done Paul Kirrane.
Funny
This serious(ly hilarious) incident that happened in Swords yesterday. Thankfully no one was injured and Gru won't be taking any further action...
Helpful
Another app I need in my life - form good habits here.
Parenting
A Dad (who works for Pixar) puts special effects on home movies of his toddlers normal everyday activities - funny and genius!
Happy Tuesday - enjoy the short week!
